Mills, a product of AlliMediaHub, wants everyone to be able to follow the game. We aim for the public Mills pages to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
1. What we do
- Pages work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and controls meet colour contrast guidelines, including dark text on red buttons.
- Pages reflow on screens down to 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Headings, landmarks and labels describe each page for screen readers, and live scores update without moving focus.
- Animations respect the reduced-motion setting.
- Each page is checked with automated accessibility tests before it is released.
2. Known limitations
- Logos, photos and stories are supplied by organisers and may not always include a full text description.
- Match streams open on YouTube, whose player has its own accessibility features.
- Some team and player names appear as initials in a crest when no logo is published; the full name is always shown beside it.
3. Tell us about a problem
If something on Mills is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email allinewsstudios@gmail.com. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will reply and work to fix it.
